CYPRUS PROPERTY GUIDE

There are 3 types of real estate in TRNC. Namely;

Turkish Title Deed:

This is the type of tittle deed, which is given for houses, lands and workplaces which have been owned before 1974 by Turkish Cypriots and Foreign Nationals. This title deed is %100 safe. and it’s only belongs to Turkish Cypriots.

Exchange Title Deed:

In 1974, the Turkish Cypriots who had  migrated to Northern Cyprus, were given equivalent real estates in return for the real estates, which they had left in Southern Cyprus estate. The Turkish Cypriots, who took their equivalent properties, signed the documents in the Southern Cyprus region and received the tittle deeds of the equivalent real estate from the state of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus . Real estates, which are registered with equivalent tittle deed,  were considered as safe and also it can be traded as any kind of property.

Allocated Title Deed:

Northern Cyprus Government had given allocated real estates as a reward for success at war in 1974. This reward had only been given to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Citizens and also citizens, who migrated from Turkey in 1974, in order to sustain their lives. This deed is under the state guarantee.
